Before your Bow Mate ships, we confirm your boat brand, model year, and bow tube spacing. This step exists so you're not stuck with a platform that doesn't mount securely.
Most installs require standard hand tools (wrenches/sockets appropriate to the supplied hardware). A specific tool list and torque guidance ships with your unit and is confirmed with your order team.
The Bow Mate attaches to the bow structure of your pontoon at the points confirmed during fitment. Mounting is designed to be a one-time install — it stays on the boat between trips.
Recheck all fasteners are fully torqued. Test that the platform is stable under weight before it ever touches the water.
Like any boat hardware, inspect fasteners and mounting points at the start of each season and after any hard impact or heavy use.
